All the pieces here are .090 (just about 3/16") thick. Thin enough to cut or saw easily, and thick enough to handle small pieces without splitting along the grain.

Surface-sanded smooth on both sides - extra choice pieces. Genuine Gaboon Ebony will be black and perfectly clear - without knots, splits or other defects. The holly will be creamy-white and clear, and the others will be as pictured. All of these are cut from the same parent stock, so all will be very similar to the picture.
